The Corporate Engagement Center brings together the best and brightest minds at Penn State to foster collaborations with corporations in order to drive business innovation, provide executive education and secure talent to solve pressing global problems. With that purpose, the center serves to connect Penn State corporate partners with internal stakeholders, bringing together teams from across the entire Penn State system, including industry experts, world-class research faculty and staff, and graduate and undergraduate student talent.

November 14 2019

During the Board of Trustees Committee meeting on Outreach, Development and Community Relations on Nov. 14, collaborators in the Invent Penn State initiative — the Office of Entrepreneurship & Commercialization, Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank, Penn State New Kensington and their Corner LaunchBox, and the Office of Government and Community Relations — shared updates on Penn State’s economic development and entrepreneurship initiatives, and provided examples of the positive impact that Invent Penn State and the innovation hub seed program are having on the lives of citizens and Penn State.

November 14 2019

Final plan approval and funds for completion of the James Building replacement on University-owned property in downtown State College was granted by Penn State's Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning (Nov. 14). The project will be presented to the full board for a vote on Friday, Nov. 15.

November 9 2019

Penn State Great Valley will host the third annual Lion Cage pitch competition from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16. Budding entrepreneurs will pitch their products and ideas to a panel of startup and business experts.

The Corporate Engagment Center

Conceived of in 2018 and launching in academic year 2019-2020, the Corporate Engagement Center is located in Innovation Park at Penn State. The Center is a joint venture between the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations working in partnership with Career Services. Our staff coordinates corporate engagement across multiple touchpoints, facilitating a holistic approach to finding opportunities for collaboration and ensuring a seamless experience for our corporate partners. The Center also serves as a resource to Penn State faculty, staff and students, connecting them to the real world opportunities offered through engaging with corporate partners.
